Lloyd Segal - Real Estate Author and Public Speaker

As an attorney based in Los Angeles, Lloyd Segal specialized in real estate litigation. Upon retiring in 2017 he joined the Los Angeles County Real Estate Investors Association, which he now leads as president. Throughout his career, Lloyd Segal has also been a real estate investor, mentor, public speaker, and most notably, an author.

Mr. Segal’s extensive experience in real estate and real estate law has made him a sought-after professional on real estate topics. Publications that have interviewed him include The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Parade Magazine, Smart Money, Publishers Weekly, and other newspapers nationwide. He has also appeared on National Public Radio, CNN, Fox Business Network, and other radio and television outlets.

He has also been a guest speaker at events for universities, board of Realtor organizations, Caldwell Banker national conventions, real estate investor clubs, and other real estate-focused and service organizations. Presently, Mr. Segal teaches workshops for investors and Realtors across the country.

In addition to public speaking, Mr. Segal has written real estate-related books including Everything You Wanted to Know about Chapter 11 Bankruptcy…But Were Afraid to Ask, Stop Foreclosure Now, and Stop Foreclosure Now in California. USA Today Book News selected Stop Foreclosure Now as its Best Personal Finance Book of the Year. His other titles include Foreclosure Investing, a guide to educating real estate investors on how to buy foreclosures, and Flipping Houses, which explains how to find, finance, renovate, and sell houses.
